Our Mission

Improving science education — and advancing the science itself.

Exploraversity exists to improve science education across the United States and to conduct basic scientific research that benefits the public.

We believe learning happens best through exploration. By pairing immersive virtual environments with intelligent guides and real collaboration, we help students step into the shoes of scientists and engineers long before they ever set foot in a lab.

More about us

What We Do

Five ways we bring science to students

Each Exploraversity program is designed to spark curiosity and give learners real tools to explore, collaborate, and create.

Career & Subject Exploration

Virtual 3D worlds and AI mentors let students try on careers — from nanotechnologist to biologist — and discover the science behind them.

Flagship program

Online Collaborations

Students find peers with shared interests and work together on science, art, and entrepreneurship using whiteboards, chat, and screen sharing.

Peer learning

Open Projects

A platform where anyone can post real problems in science, technology, and the arts — and where student projects can be funded to solve them.

Community

Educational Programs

Math, science, and technology classes delivered to both online and local communities through direct educational outreach.

Outreach

Scientific Research

Basic research in aging, nutrition, automation, nanotechnology, and metamaterials — with results shared openly for public benefit.
